In the banished mountain valley
The caves from the old stories
Wait in the depths of primeval stone
In chain of vaults far below the mountain

A mountain with the memories
Of times long before our days
Remembering the horrors of dawn
With the secrets fatal to everyone

Who is coming guided by the light of torches
Miles in the descending tunnels of unknown dark
Brave enough to face the fear, cold and that feel
Of something dwelling down below his feet

In the cave with the idol made of insane ideas
Of stone, antlers, mold, blood and human bones
Guarded by the headless skeletons in armor
Covered by see-through mineral crust

Encrusted offerings, bones split for the marrow
Ribcages opened for the hearts and blood
To feed the nameless creations painted all around
The sanctuary entombed in the mountain’s chest

Creatures from the horrors
Embalmed in blood and stone
Praised with horror in the mind
Of human races lost in the ages

In this chapel of blood
Dwells that insane feel
That there’s something

Still lurking under the surface
Roaring and rattling with desire
To break its tomb, to rule again
